You know you’re man’s best friend when he brings you in on the happiest moment of his life! This dog wasn’t the only one that enjoyed this New Orleans Engagement Photography session! We loved being able to capture the essence of Caitlin and Danny’s love and a little bit of their proposal story. These two dog-gone lovers have been together for several years now and both live in the Garden District of New Orleans. Danny made a clever move with his proposal– he got a dog tag made with “Marry Me?” inscribed in it. And of course who could deny that?!
They decided they wanted to start their engagements at The Bulldog, a bar that they frequent often around the corner from them. So we started with drinks there! It was a rustic and comfortable environment, and perfect for animal lovers. After we strolled around the city. The Garden District is a distinct part to New Orleans and gives its own tone to the culture. The colorful buildings and homes really give photos that warm aura that just adds to the love connection we look for in the photos we make. The city is full of gorgeous plant life and so many textures as well.
We ended the evening with taking a few shots in front of their cute yellow house. Caitlin and Danny are such a colorful and vibrant couple. Their dog sure did enjoy this shoot as well as I’m sure you can tell! We loved being able to take their New Orleans Engagement Photography and we wish this couple and best friend the best of luck!
