We love when big city couples come to our big city for French Quarter Destination Engagement Photography session. These Chicago sweethearts, Jen and Uriel, knew what they were doing when they came here for their engagements. Jen and Uriel met in Chicago where they are both from but traveled to New Orleans for a quick getaway, just each other, and they fell in love with the city. But who wouldn’t? They knew they just had to get married here! We spent most of the evening strolling around the French Quarter and stopped on Rampart to snag a shot with a streetcar. We stopped in for some drinks on Bourbon and ended the evening basking in a rooftop sunset. It was definitely an enjoyable evening, the weather was perfect and we gotta tell you, these two are such a fun couple! You would think love would look different in different places of the world. Nope. It’s laughing, it’s enjoying each other’s company when nothing is happening, it’s together, it’s simple. Love is love.
We love running around the city getting to know couples from all over the world. It’s like we’re sharing in part of an adventure with them. Jen and Uriel both work in technology and it was cool learning about what they do. And we get the privilege of sharing in their greatest ‘yes’ on their wedding day! These two will be getting married in 2019 at Immaculate Conception with their ceremony at Tomas Bistro. We can’t wait to continue on with their story next year!
